We offer established Streptocarpella plants for sale in 4" nursery pots. Their blooms only last about 1 week, but they do bloom frequently with the right care. If we have one in bloom, we will ship it first.
Care Instructions:
Sunlight: Streptocarpella prefers bright, indirect light. It thrives best when placed near a window that receives filtered sunlight. Direct sunlight should be avoided as it can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water your Streptocarpella when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Reduce watering frequency during the winter months when the plant is not actively growing.
Fertilization: Feed your Streptocarpella every two weeks during the growing season (spring through early fall) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half the recommended strength. Avoid fertilizing in the winter.
Temperature & Humidity: This plant prefers warm conditions with temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). It can tolerate a minimum of 50°F (10°C), but avoid sudden temperature drops and cold drafts. Streptocarpella benefits from high humidity levels; consider placing it in a humid area of your home or use a humidity tray to increase moisture in the air.
Additional Tips:
- Regularly check for pests such as aphids and spider mites, especially when new growth is present.
- Prune back leggy stems to encourage bushier growth and maintain a compact shape.
- Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its container, using a well-draining potting mix.

We cannot guarantee the plants if damaged by weather or carrier mishandling of the package. If you have concerns about the condition of your plants on arrival, please take pictures of the package and plants and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
