Mike & Susie Luther — Owners

Heavenly Creation Nursery (HCN) is a family-owned nursery located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Our nursery grew from a shared passion for plants. Mike has been growing bonsai since 1994, while Susie began focusing on African Violets, Episcia and other Gesneriads in 2021. What started as a collection we simply enjoyed ourselves eventually grew into Heavenly Creation Nursery.

Today, HCN specializes in African Violets, Hoya, Asian Violets (Primulina), Episcia, Streptocarpus, and other collectible Gesneriads and specialty plants. We work with established growers while also growing and propagating plants here at our nursery.

Our focus is on offering healthy, established live plants rather than tiny starter plants. All of our Gesneriads are grown and maintained in climate-controlled growing facilities where we can manage temperature, light and growing conditions throughout the year. We pay particular attention to plant health, root development, careful packing and shipping practices so our customers can successfully grow and enjoy their plants at home.

African Violets remain a major part of HCN, with a large and continually changing selection of named varieties. We have also expanded our collections of Hoya and other Gesneriads, including Asian Violets, Episcia and Streptocarpus, giving collectors an increasingly diverse selection to explore.

We ship live plants to customers throughout the contiguous 48 United States and take pride in sharing the plants we enjoy growing ourselves.

We hope you enjoy our plants as much as we enjoy growing them.
